I am back from another long hiatus from new blog posts, partly because of a very busy summer schedule (including Lake Tahoe!) and then moving my website to yet another new host. Hopefully, though, this website should be staying put for a while! But while traveling this year, it occurred to me that I could – and should – put together a plant-based/vegan eating guide for various cities where I have eaten at vegan-friendly places.
Let’s start with the Lake Tahoe area (California/Nevada) largely because it is one of my favorite places to visit and I have been going there pretty much every year since I was a kid. I’ve bookmarked lots of and lots of places that I have still yet to get to (maybe next year!), but I’ve accumulated a number of places where people can eat vegan.
With Lake Tahoe being up in the Sierra Nevada mountains and sits on the border of both California and Nevada, it shouldn’t be too surprising that there are a good number of vegan-friendly places to eat to cater to the health-conscious locals and visitors to the area.
