Navigating the Nutrition Jungle Workshop

Eating healthfully seems to get harder and harder with the obstacles in our present-day food system. It seems to be a nutrition jungle out there. From too-easily-accessible convenience and junk foods, marketing ploys that convince us to make less-than-optimal food choices, a culture that promotes eating on the go and eating mindlessly, new fad diets that promise instant results that seem too good to be true, nutrition myths and controversies, etc., it is an uphill battle to try to take care of our bodies from a nutritional standpoint.

Join our nutrition workshop, “Navigating the Nutrition Jungle,” on Sunday, January 3, 2016 from 11:00am-1:00pm at Yoga Pole Studio in which we will discuss how to tackle these obstacles to eating better. It will be a great way to start off the 2016 new year to help you make those changes to eating habits that you know you need to make! Snacks will be provided and there will be time for you to ask questions.

The workshop will be led by Yoga Pole Studio instructor Barbara J. Chin, MS, RD, CDN, CPT who is a Registered Dietitian and works full-time as a Clinical Nutritionist at a New York City hospital. Her passion is in helping people be more conscious of the food choices they are making and encouraging shifts toward better choices by understanding the traps and pitfalls that surround us in our everyday lives. Early bird registration before December 20th is $40 for this limited-space workshop – price will go up after December 20th! Reserve your spot now at http://yogapolestudio.com!
