  • Currently teaches Aerial Hoop/Lyra, Find My Handstand, Gymnastics Tumbling & Rings, and Flexibility classes at Yoga Pole Studio
  • Personal trainer working with clients of varied fitness levels and all ages
  • Group fitness instructor teaching Spinning/indoor cycling, kickboxing, step aerobics, boot camp, and group strength training classes
  • Recreational and competitive level gymnastics coach
Barbara’s Education:
  • Master’s degree in Nutrition and Exercise Physiology from Teachers College at Columbia University
  • One-year supervised internship in dietetics at various clinical and community sites around NYC
  • Additional classwork and internship time specializing in sports nutrition and fueling for exercise
  • Fitness Instruction minor from UC Santa Barbara with emphases in group fitness and personal training
Other Interests:

In her free time, Barbara is an enthusiastic theatre-goer who attends both musicals and plays, and it is not uncommon for her to see shows she enjoys multiple times. She developed an early appreciation for music while learning classical violin and she has sung both alto and soprano in many choirs.
